Sadly, Saturday, the day before Father's Day, was the two month anniversary of the massacre at Virginia Tech. All over the nation people have been calling for action on gun violence with an event now coming to be known as a LIE - IN. They have been done all over the east coast.
ICHV and the Brady Campaign jointly sponsored a Lie In in Evanston,
at the Fountain Square Plaza, on Saturday morning at 10 am. Fountain
Square is outdoors in downtown Evanston at the intersection of Several elected officials and the press were in attendance. Thanks to all who came and showed your support to raise awareness about gun policies and gun violence in general.
